How is this different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a chatbot in a browser. It answers questions but can't take real action. OpenClaw is an AI agent running on your own server — it browses the web, writes code, manages files, and runs tasks. It's available through WhatsApp and Telegram, not just a website. Think of ChatGPT as a consultant you visit. OpenClaw is a full-time assistant that's always on.
Do I need my own API key?
Yes. You bring your own Anthropic API key. This keeps your usage and costs transparent — you pay the LLM provider directly. OpenClaw supports other providers too (OpenAI, OpenRouter, etc.).
What do I get that I can't do myself?
